The MDA serves people living with neuromuscular disorders.  Mechanical aids are made available to help them carry on.

Canadian Mental Health Association, Interlake Region, Selkirk $2,500

Audio-visual equipment will help the CMHA deliver its message to the folks of the Interlake.

South Central Cancer Resource, Morden $5,000

A variety of equipment will help the SCCR serve cancer patients and their families.

Health Sciences Centre Foundation, Winnipeg $75,000

The "Breakthrough" campaign at the HSC seeks to fund an Institute for Advanced Medicine which will be a Centre of Excellence for the brain.  This grant is payable over 3 years.

Boundary Trails Health Centre $100,000

The BTHC, between Morden and Winkler will offer the services of a magnetic resonance imaging scanner.  This award will be paid over 4 years.

Movement Centre of Manitoba, Winnipeg $14,814

The MCM serves people who are living with neuro-motor disorders.  Specialized exercise equipment has been acquired.

Manitoba Schizophrenia Society $5,000

A national conference is being hosted in Winnipeg by the MSS.

Mental Health Self-Help Centre, Winnipeg $5,000

The Centre is a facility which houses several agencies in the mental health field.  New signage was funded with this award.

Deer Lodge Centre Foundation, Winnipeg $35,000

Deer Lodge has established the Movement Disorders Clinic.  The historic Women's Tribute Memorial Building is being retrofitted to house the Clinic.

Manitoba Epilepsy Association $3,868

A new photocopier will help the Association deliver its services to its clients.

Parkinson Society Manitoba $4,000

New library resources will help this agency in educating its clients and the general public.

Canadian Mental Health Association, Swan Valley $20,000

The Swan Valley branch of the CMHA is establishing a housing complex in Dauphin for people living with mental illness.
