Reston Health Centre Palliative Care Program $10,000

Minnedosa & Area Palliative Care Program $10,000

The establishment of these palliative care programs has been assisted by grants to acquire capital assets and to renovate hospital space.

Rehabilitation Centre for Children, Winnipeg $20,000

This grant helped the Rehab Centre to acquire technology to treat children living with communication disorders.

Fondation Sante Notre-Dame  $40,000

Payable over 4 years, this grant will help the people of Notre Dame de Lourdes establish a wellness centre offering a wide variety of medical, recreational and educational services.

ALS Society of Manitoba  $10,000

A pilot project, the Volunteer Family Advocate Friend, will be partly funded with this grant.  The project seeks to help families of ALS victims cope with the affliction.

Heart & Stroke Foundation of Manitoba  $9,885

The mission of the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Manitoba is to eliminate heart disease and stroke through research, education and advocacy.  A new air conditioning system for its building has been purchased with this award.

Central Speech & Hearing Clinic, Winnipeg $10,000

This clinic provides alternative treatment therapies for deaf children.  Relocation costs were partly funded with this grant.

Alzheimer's Society of Manitoba, Winnipeg $6,500

A Northern Education Project will educate Manitobans in remote communities about Alzheimer's disease.  This award helped to deliver the project.

Canadian Mental Health Association, Manitoba Division $10,000

The CMHA, Manitoba Division serves several regional branches throughout Manitoba from its building in Winnipeg.  This grant was for the restoration of the building's roof.
