Renovations to Inglis' hall were partly funded with
this award.

Committee operates a thrift store and addresses poverty
in several Interlake communities. This grant helped
it to relocate to larger premises.

WHS, with a province-wide mandate, has outgrown its
facilities and is building a new home. Construction
will be helped with this award.
Capital
grants are helping humane societies in Thompson and
Dauphin build their first animal shelters.
Two
derelict apartments are being purchased and renovated
to provide comfortable housing for marginalized people.
Acquisition costs and equipment were partly funded with
this grant.

A
pre-school enrichment program is part of the prevention
work undertaken by CFS in Brandon. A new van acquired
with the help of this grant will transport children
to the facility.
Kitchen
improvements have been funded at this shelter for women
and children.
This
grant has assisted with a variety of capital improvements
to Theresa Place, a residential treatment facility for
women.
