partnership of Manitoba foundations have invested in the LWRC
with a view to rehabilitating the Lake. This grant is
payable over 2 years.

SDWF is headquartered in Saskatoon, but it delivers its programs
in schools throughout the country. This grant will help
Manitoba students understand the fragility of their water supplies.

Green Map of Winnipeg and the Capital Region is being developed
by the Eco-Network. It will guide citizens and visitors
to the area's various "green assets".
A
new interpretive centre will help to educate the public concerning
birds of prey, particularly the Peregrine falcon.
