The Museum promotes
awareness and conservation of natural areas, specifically
tall grass prairie and the 32 acres of such prairie that still
exist in Winnipeg. The interpretive centre is being
renovated with the help of this grant.
The
Manitoba Museum is also an interpreter of nature. This
grant will help it to deliver a project known as "Living
on the Edge: Manitoba's Endangered Species" to
the public and, especially, school children. |
