Career Trek, Winnipeg $45,000

Career Trek encourages school age children from at-risk backgrounds to stay in school by exposing them to various career choices.  This grant helped to deliver the program at Skownan First Nation.  It is payable over 3 years.

University of Winnipeg $12,000

The University of Winnipeg is partnering with the Town of Morden and the Morden Collegiate to monitor and improve the water quality of Dead Horse Creek.  This grant partly funds research and testing.
