Grants were provided for construction and equipment. Various camp improvements were funded with these grants. Variety Club of Manitoba, Winnipeg 5,250 The Variety Club’s mandate is service to children. These funds helped it to acquire a wheelchair van. Manitoba Children�s Museum, Winnipeg 15,000 The MCM offers interactive galleries for the enjoyment and education of children. The heritage building which houses the museum was upgraded with this grant. Rural Municipality of Harrison 2,500 The Foundation partnered with the Newdale & Area Lions Club to provide a skating rink for the youth of the R. M. of Harrison. Winnipeg School Division 1,499 Winnipeg Boys & Girls Clubs 1,499 Big Sisters / Brothers, Manitoba 909 Lord Selkirk School Division, Selkirk 267 Rossbrook House, Winnipeg 267 Variety Club, Winnipeg 267 Andrews St. Family Centre, Winnipeg 267 These agencies have been provided with grants to enable their young clients to attend Winnipeg Blue Bomber football games. Such experiences are rare for these children.
